The Amazing Upgrade to Your Webcam (That You Already Own, But Didn't Know It)

Here we are, as I promised, LESS than weekly since my first post on this new blog discussing the how’s, the why’s and the “what’s that now”’s of podcasting.

This tip though, if you’re not already using, you’re going to be so glad to learn so, you’re welcome and if the video and these links don’t make much sense to you, then feel free to email me about it & I’ll help you start using this MUCH better camera that won’t mean a discussion with your accountant.

Your smartphone (whether Android or iPhone) has a pretty amazing back camera (unless it’s VERY old) and the smarts to process those lenses in a way that’s really pleasing to the eye. Features like “portrait mode” or “studio lighting” can be accessed and turned up or down while using your phone as your WEBCAM! I’m willing to bet that even if you’ve got a great webcam shooting 1080p right now, your phone would be an improvement (when using the back camera, not the selfie lens). Watch the video to get the details, and then check out the links below.

Let me know if you’re already using your phone as a camera, or if you owe me a frosty beverage the next time we’re together!
